The Sacred Valley of the Incas

The Sacred Valley is one of the most fascinating landscapes in Peru. Surrounded by mountains, rivers, and ancient agricultural terraces, this region was considered sacred by the Incas due to the fertility of its lands and its privileged climate.

Today, the valley continues to preserve that deep connection between nature, culture, and Andean tradition. Its villages, markets, paths, and agricultural fields still reflect the historical essence of the Andes.

The renowned giant corn of Cusco is still cultivated here, alongside ancestral farming techniques that remain part of the Sacred Valley’s identity.
